Conventus ("we", "us") is a friends-only social app for adults. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. By using Conventus, you agree to this policy.

Who can use Conventus

Conventus is for adults 18 and over. We verify age at signup. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we remove it.

What we collect

How we use it

To operate the app: show your friends' content, deliver messages and plans, power discovery, and keep the service safe. We do not sell your data. We do not run ads.

What others see

Conventus is friends-only by default. Your content is visible to your friends. Your interests and friend count are private to you. One-sided "waves" are never revealed unless mutual.

Location

Location is opt-in and coarse only. You can turn it off at any time in settings. We never share your exact location, address, or anything precise.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account any time in your profile settings. Deletion permanently removes your account and associated content from our systems.

Blocking and reporting

You can block any user (which hides you from them everywhere) and report users or content. Reports are reviewed and acted on.

Data storage

Your data is stored on secure third-party infrastructure. We take reasonable measures to protect it.

Changes

We may update this policy. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
